March has always been a favored month for visitors to the Valley of the Sun – Scottsdale in particular – however, hotel rates are high, airfares prices are higher and even some of the restaurants raise their prices! Well, there is an alternative APRIL & MAY! Spring is beautiful in Scottsdale. Blooming cactus and flowers, the orange trees are in bloom and the air smells fresh & floral. Spring Festivals are popping up all over the Valley, Scottsdale Culinary Festival has there annual week of food & drink fun and Tempe Town Lake has something happening nearly every weekend – not to mention all of the events at the Desert Botanical Gardens. Thursday evenings in downtown Scottsdale is the place to be if you enjoy leisurely walks, music, food & wine, and of course art. In the heart of Old Town two popular art events take place. ArtWalk which is more about browsing in permanent galleries; ArtBridge Thursdays are designed to allow local Arizona-based talent to exhibit, demonstrate and sell their products and services in a fun, casual atmosphere. Both should be added to your “must do” list whether you are a local, or a visitor.

Many people don’t know that our resort is a mere 3 miles from one of the Phoenix’s favorite casinos – Casino Arizona.  Did you know we offer transportation to the Casino as well?  7am – 11pm daily.  Casino Arizona is also host to some of the Valley’s best shows, including Comedy, Jazz, Swing, Magic and Theater.  Casino Arizona is also host to amazing restaurants and night clubs.   Talking Stick Resort, her sister casino, is located only 9 miles from us as well…a 10 minute car ride.   One more item to add to your to-do list while you visit the Valley of the Sun.

‘Tis truly is the season for celebration.  This is especially true for one of our favorite guests – Mrs. Lynda A.
